Updating steam 0

It's not like I can go on steam and manually update Day Z, and it sure as hell isn't updating it "automatically".-_- Does anyone have any idea what the deal is and how I can go about fixing this because I would really enjoy playing Day Z, but I can't and it is quite annoying. They're working in a patch for it as we speak since download isn't compatible with steam interlink.
